Nobel Houses, Free-Folk, The Wall, White-Walkers, and yes, the Dragons, you heard it right. Based on fantasy novels by George R. R. Martin, the groundbreaking HBO series Game of Thrones attracted record viewership and successfully made a wide international fan base. Its mind-blowing plot with twist and turns, grand star-cast, and intriguing characters like Daenerys Targaryen, John Snow, Starks, and Lannisters made left an impression on every mind. Whether you love it or hate it, but you certainly can’t ignore it.

How is it possible we could leave such a show when so many people are interested to know which GOT character they are as per their sun sign.

Of-course such shows are a delight for curious minds like us and people interested in the Zodiac signs since there were so many different unique personalities on this show. So let us start to identify the various Zodiac signs hiding behind the colorful and spirited characters of Game of Thrones.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Aries as the first sign of Zodiac is known for being the fighter of the zodiac and they never give up just like Daenerys Stormborn. Those with an Aries Sun live in the present. The essence of being Aries is courage and the willingness to be a pioneer.

Queen Daenerys I Targaryen, also known as Daenerys Stormborn was the only daughter of King Aerys II Targaryen, and Queen Rhaella Targaryen. She grew up in exile along with her brother Viserys. She is strong, persistent, curious, and intensely determined.

As true Aries, she is purposeful, brave, and honest. She is a great leader and usually good at quick decisions. She has high energy levels and love to be in action all the time.

Her with an obsession with power, and a determination that she is ‘right’ in believing that the Throne is hers, is enough to take her from Mother to Dictator.

Aries make for a highly aggressive and even one-sided individual. For this reason, Aries are hard to discipline and often lack of control. Like an Aries, she can be impulsive, opinionated and impatient at times. Which makes them negative and vain.

Taurus (April 20 – May 21)

Taurus individuals are down to earth, practical, and methodical, and have finely-tuned senses, and an eye for beauty. Bulls are usually kind, gentle, hardworking people who are loyal, devoted, and although somewhat cautious with their possessions, but they can generously with family, and friends.

Brienne of Tarth is the daughter and heir of Lord Selwyn Tarth of Evenfall Hall, on the island of Tarth. She is unusually tall and muscular for a woman and developed a liking for martial activity as a child. Brienne has grown up to become skilled at arms and dreams of becoming a knight.

She is noble and humble at all times, even though she was inevitably a lady of Tarth as the only daughter of Lord Selwyn Tarth. Like a Taurus, she is trustworthy, determined, and affectionate.

Just like a Taurus, the sign she is born under, she is a strong and skilled fighter, is merciful and compassionate, unshakably loyal, and determined. But can be obstinate, possessive, and rigid at times. Most Tauruians are overcautious just like Brienne.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21)

Ser Jaime Lannister was the elder son of Lord Tywin Lannister, younger twin brother of Queen Cersei Lannister, and older brother of Tyrion Lannister.

Jaime appears to be arrogant, smug, cold, dishonorable, extremely dangerous, and sarcastic. To a large extent, he is arrogant as he was arguably one of the greatest swordsmen, and only a few people were able to match him.

Gemini is symbolized by the twins and ruled by Mercury, the trickster planet. Geminis tend to rationalize their emotions. Just like a Gemini, Jaime tends to be versatile, witty, lively but when he becomes dark, he tends to be disorganized, inconsistent, and manipulative.

Jaime’s attitude towards violence is also complex: he threw Bran Stark out a tower window to kill him, but later saved Brienne twice (from being raped, then fed to a bear) from Locke’s soldiers.

Jaime Lannister is undoubtedly a Gemini. As the air sign, Lannister is restless, always looking for the next adventure or battle.

Cancer (June 22 July 22)

Cancerians are caring individuals who seek sensitive exchanges of feelings. At their best, they are supportive, empathetic, and are always there for family and friends. At their worst, they are clingy, moody, suspicious, and uncommunicative.

Jon Snow is the illegitimate son of Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell. Not knowing the identity of his mother. Jon has a tough exterior much like Cancer and under it lies an emotional man, protecting his personal burden.

Arguably one of the most noteworthy nature of Jon is his die-hard loyalty which he shares with other Cancerians

Like Cancers, Jon is emotional and brooding, which can often get in the way of his plans but ultimately it’s his emotional empathy that balance out these negative qualities.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Queen Margaery Tyrell was the only daughter of Lord Mace Tyrell and Lady Alerie Tyrell. Margaery became Queen Consort through her marriage to King Joffrey Baratheon,

She is a kind of manipulative, yet a lot warm-hearted than others who are looking to sit the Throne. She knows what she wants, but doesn’t act as ruthlessly on her plan to achieve it. Still, her wits and cleverness makes more impact than her more violent competitors,

Like a true Leo personality, Margaery Tyrell exhibiting four key characteristics: generosity and big-heartedness, self-confidence, determination, and natural leadership.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Melisandre

Melisandre is a Priestess of the Lord of Light. She claims to wield powerful magical abilities and power of prophecy. Melisandre wears a large ruby necklace that seems to glow whenever she performs her magic. This same necklace also hides her aging, prolonging her life in the process.

Melisandre resonates like a Virgo being alluring and enigmatic. Melisandre is often chillingly calm but when she speaks of her Lord, she’s as distinct as her all-red outfit. When it comes from someone as mysterious and spooky as Melisandre, they listen.

Like Virgos, Melisandre is a perfectionist and meticulous and single-minded in their pursuit of her objectives. This also makes her extremely dedicated to the people in her life.

The plot gets exciting as the story progresses. We are trying our best to find the Zodiac traits in each character, looking deeply into their soul.
