Libra (September 23 – October 22)

He is generally lying down (as a personification of the earth) and colored green with vegetation growing from his body. It seems that Geb was largely worshiped as a goose.

Geb is often thought of as, creating earthquakes with his laughter and droughts without reason. As the god of the earth, he made the deserts isolating Egypt from the rest of the ancient world. But Geb could be a kind god too. As he created the lush, fertile lands surrounding the Nile River. Under Geb’s influence, believers would be blessed with bountiful harvests and enough crops to fatten their livestock.

He rules over the tombs buried in the earth and assisted in the ritual of weighing the heart of the dead in the Halls of Ma´at.

She was often shown as a woman with wings, or a vulture, usually wearing the crowns of royalty.
